Frequently asked questions
About Nera OS
What is Nera OS?
Nera OS is a management system built on proactive AI for teams and for a workforce of people, robots and machines. Nera OS collects context from the people who do the work and gives decision-makers an accurate picture of reality, in a simple format. It was founded in 2025 and is based in Spain. Its first product, Mari, is in use at companies across Europe.
What are Mari, Era and Nera?
Mari, Era and Nera are the three parts of Nera OS. Mari (live) collects: it holds a short check-in with every employee and delivers issues, updates and blockers to the manager who can act. Era (early access) connects: it links each person to the data behind their problem, such as meeting notes, emails, ERP, Jira and sensor readings, and is configured for each company. Nera (in development) decides: it verifies information, ranks it by impact and routes every task to a person, a robot or an AI agent. Mari and Era customers get first access to Nera.
Who founded Nera OS?
Nera OS was founded in 2025 in Spain by Maria Remezova, CEO, and Maksim Shmakov, CTO.
Using Mari
How does a Mari check-in work?
Mari holds a short conversation with each employee, by voice or chat, in their own language: daily, per shift or on a custom schedule. A check-in takes a few minutes. Mari asks follow-up questions, collects issues, updates and blockers, and delivers each issue to the manager who can act on it; recurring problems are flagged. Employees use the Mari app on iPhone or Android and join through an invitation from their company.
Which teams use Mari?
Mari works for any team: management, sales, engineering, operations, production and quality teams use it the same way. Shift teams are included: check-ins can follow the shift schedule, and employees can report an issue by voice, hands-free, at the moment it happens.
What do managers get from Mari?
Managers get only what they can act on: issues and blockers routed to the right person, an issue tracker with priorities, a view of how work is moving and of team health, and daily summaries. A weekly management presentation is built from everything Mari collected and is ready before the meeting starts. Managers can also ask Mari and Era about the company and get answers with sources.
How is Mari different from surveys and stand-up meetings?
A survey asks everyone the same fixed questions; Mari holds a conversation and follows up on what each person says. A stand-up takes the whole team's time at once; with Mari, each person talks for a few minutes on their own schedule, and the meeting starts with the issues already collected and classified.
Trial, pricing and data
How can we try Mari, and how much does it cost?
Mari starts with a free trial: the Nera OS team sets Mari up online for one team, at no cost. Next comes a pilot, in which the Nera OS team introduces the system to the wider team on site and calibrates it to how people actually work. A paid subscription begins only after a successful pilot. Request a trial at neraos.com/clients; for a price offer, write to info@neraos.com.
Where is Mari data stored, and is it used to train AI?
Mari stores app data, including check-in content, on servers in the European Union, and AI processing runs in the European Union by default. Nera OS does not train AI models on this information, and its AI provider, Google Vertex AI, does not use it to train its models. Voice check-ins are converted to text, and Nera OS does not store voice recordings. Details are in the Privacy Policy at neraos.com/privacy.
